BENEATH THE MASK By Rosalia Kapolo We all are human. Atleast that is the one thing we have in common as people. But every individual has a unique journey. A path once guided by their parents/guardian. We each have a story to tell. We each know who we are deep down. We each sincerely know what is beneath the mask. Atleast only one other person apart from you knows what is beneath your mask, our God. We put on that mask everyday we go out there. And for some, our very sanity depends on #The_Mask. One thing has me thinking though. What if the mask didn't exist? What if we could all see beyond each others' masks? Would some of us, in our uniqueness be able to go through the day without the slunder and criticism from other individuals who believe their masks are thinner? Why do we, as individuals have to create slunder, critics and stigmatize others for their uniqueness? We shouldn't be doing this. We know absolutely nothing!
